December 2001 - Research "Comparative Analysis of Corporate Governance and Shareholder's rights in South Eastern European Countries" won by the PPFI and its executive director as a Award - Alumni Small Grants Program" provided by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Support for East European Democracy (SEED) Act. July 2002 – July 2005 - This is a three year project managed by OECD and funded by OECD/EBRD/EU DG Enterprise. The OECD has provided a research grant for enterprise policy assessment in the Balkan region, covering 10 countries. This project is part of development efforts at a regional scale in frame of Investment Compact, Stability Pact for SEE countries. The country assessment, including a regional assessment will be prepared jointly by OECD/EBRD/EU DG Enterprise in cooperation with local institutes. PPFI is the selected Albanian institute for performing such assessment. The main aim for this is to assess the extent of a country’s progress in developing and implementing policies for enterprise and SME development and in particular to obtain private sector feedback and views about the effectiveness of enterprise policy. January 2003 – “Changes in ownership structure of the privatized enterprises (1992-2002)-Albanian case”. This is a one year project funded by Global Development Network GDN/WB. He research will be discussed at two tables and the final document will be published at a recognized international business magazine.

October 2003 - “Development trends of private health sector in Albania, its effectiveness and efficiency”. This project was prepared in frame of National Program of Research and Development. It will be extended in a period of 8 months and it will aim to cover most parts of Albania. In frame of this project will be organized comparative researches of other countries experiences in this field, interviews with private health activities in some cities of the country, roundtables and other activities. The study will include recommendations to further improvement of the climate for development of the health private sector as well as its interrelations with the public sector. The final report will be published
